On May 5, a delegation of four members, including Wang Hongda, Director of the International Cooperation Division of the Liaoning Provincial Foreign Experts Bureau, and Hou Yuxin, Director of the Division for Introducing Foreign Projects of the Dalian Municipal Foreign Experts Bureau, visited our company to inspect the project involving the introduction of an overseas R&D team. Company Chairman Cai Fenghan, Chief Engineer Ye Tao, as well as representatives from the Technology R&D Department and the Chief Engineer’s Office, attended the briefing. Deputy General Manager Hu Dewei reported to the provincial and municipal foreign experts bureaus on the progress of our company’s lithium-ion battery negative electrode material R&D project, which is being carried out in collaboration with Japan’s TEXTECHNOLOGY Co., Ltd. (Huibishu Company).

As of April 20, the R&D products have already undergone inspection by the state-designated authorities, about six months ahead of schedule. The rapid progress of the project can be attributed primarily to the following factors: (1) The R&D products were originally manufactured by Liaoning Hongguang Company; this project mainly focuses on addressing the issues identified in those products; (2) The company attaches great importance to product R&D and is committed to promptly resolving existing problems and bringing the new products to market as soon as possible; (3) During the implementation of the project, specific work procedures were meticulously broken down, with close cooperation among all departments, clear assignment of responsibilities to individuals, and regular assessments based on predetermined timelines and milestones; (4) Following the merger of the two companies, the technical R&D capabilities have been strengthened, thereby accelerating the pace of product development.

The total investment in the project is 25 million yuan. As of April 20, the completed investment has reached 17.26 million yuan, accounting for 69.04% of the total investment. The project’s products are scheduled to be submitted to the Liaoning Provincial Commission of Economy and Information Technology for new-product appraisal in June. After completing the new-product appraisal, we will submit a project acceptance application to the Foreign Expert Bureau of Liaoning Province.

Leaders from the provincial and municipal foreign expert bureaus expressed their satisfaction with the progress of the project undertaken by our company. They requested that we comply with the project management regulations and complete the approval procedures inherited by Hongguang Technology, as well as sign the succession documents with our partners.
